Privacy Policy

Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to Article 13 GDPR.

Person in Charge

IBH EUROTEC—Ingenieurbüro Joachim Hart, Hans-Böckler-Str. 11, D-25337 Elmshorn, Germany—is responsible for data processing on this website. Phone: +49 4121 438223, email: joachimhart@ibh-eurotec.eu. The law does not require the appointment of a data protection officer.

Server Log Files

When you access this website, your browser transmits technically necessary data, which the hosting provider stores in server log files: the URL accessed, the time of the request, the amount of data transferred, a notification of whether the request was successful, the browser type and operating system, and the IP address. This processing is carried out to ensure trouble-free operation and to defend against attacks based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This data is not combined with other data sources. The log files are automatically deleted after seven days.

Contact Form

When you send us an inquiry via the contact form, we process the data you provide—first and last name, email address, subject, and message, as well as your company name and phone number (if provided)—to handle your request. In addition, we store the language version of the website you used to submit your message so that we can respond to you in the same language, as well as your IP address, browser identifier, and the time of submission, to help us detect any misuse of the form. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as the inquiry relates to the conclusion or performance of a contract; otherwise, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The information is stored in our database and also transmitted to us via email. Immediately after submission, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt at the address you provided, which includes a copy of your inquiry. We will delete the data as soon as your inquiry has been fully processed and there are no legal retention requirements that prevent us from doing so.

Spam Protection with ALTCHA

To protect the contact form from automated submissions, we use ALTCHA. Your browser solves a simple math problem, and the result is sent along with the form. The math problem is generated by a central server operated by our IT service provider and retrieved by our server; your browser never comes into contact with this server at any time. The solution is verified exclusively by us. No data is transferred to third parties, and no cookies are set. In addition, the form contains a field that is invisible to you and is filled in only by automated programs. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in preventing abuse pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Cookies and Fonts

This website uses two technically necessary cookies: a session cookie, which tracks your session, and a cookie containing a security token that protects form submissions from being tampered with by third-party sites. Neither contains any personal information, and both expire no later than 120 minutes after your last activity. We do not use any analytics, tracking, or marketing tools. All fonts used are served from our own server; there is no connection to external font providers. Consent pursuant to Section 25(1) of the German Telemedia Act (TDDDG) is not required for technically necessary cookies.

Recipients and Data Processors

We use service providers to operate this website, who process your data on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. We have a data processing agreement with each of them in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR. These are: Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg, for server operation—processing takes place exclusively within the Frankfurt am Main data center network (eu-central-1 region); devRocks GmbH as a technical service provider for the development, deployment, and maintenance of the website; and Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland, for the email service through which we receive your inquiry. Amazon and Microsoft are part of corporate groups headquartered in the United States. Therefore, access from a third country cannot be ruled out in all cases. Both providers are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; in addition, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses apply. Furthermore, we will only disclose your data if it is necessary to process your inquiry or if we are legally required to do so.

Rights of Affected Individuals

You have the right to access the personal data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), and to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). To the extent that we process your data on the basis of a legitimate interest, you may object to such processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR. To exercise your rights, simply send an informal message using the contact information provided above.

Right to File a Complaint

You have the right to file a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Independent State Center for Data Protection in Schleswig-Holstein, Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel.
